What are the benefits of website audio?
Audio is quickly becoming a standard feature for business websites. As a relationship building tool, website audio adds a personal voice to your Internet presence that reflects positively on your company and creates a memorable brand experience. You can use website audio to greet visitors, provide a company overview, offer navigation tips, or highlight key areas of the site. Studies show that by combining visual elements with an audio component, you receive a significantly higher message retention rate than if the message were relayed with text and graphics only.

Can the audio be turned off?
Yes. Ives Creative provides your website with a custom audio player that visitors can use to turn the sound on and off at their discretion.

Yes. We match the design of the audio player to the color scheme of your website for a complete brand experience for your visitors.

What is the turn-around time for production?
After we receive final approval on the script, you can expect delivery of your website audio production in two weeks, or ten business days. This includes voice talent selection, recording, mixing and post-production, and final integration of the audio production with your website. Rush productions are also available upon request.

Can I make changes and updates to my recordings? How often?
You can change the background music of your recording at any time, but we cannot make changes to the voice narration without re-recording the content. Of course we will be happy to create new productions for your website any time you wish. We also offer service packages that include options for multiple productions.

Can I rotate my audio greetings and messages?
Yes. We can record as many greetings and messages as you wish and rotate them randomly or at pre-programmed times.

Can I program my audio messages to rotate at specific times?
Yes. Audio messages are coded in Flash using action scripting and can be delivered to the website randomly or at pre-programmed times. For example, you may wish to have your greetings rotate on a seasonal, monthly, weekly, or even a daily basis. You can also rotate your messages to correspond with product specials and promotions.

What types of music are available?
Ives Creative offers a complete library of pre-licensed music in a wide variety of music styles, including classical, jazz, rock, new age, electronic, and more. Click on the IC Player at any time to hear samples of our music selections.

Are there royalties and licensing fees?
No. All of our music selections are pre-licensed. Once you have selected your music, there is only the low one-time purchase fee, which includes all royalties.

Can I select the voices for my recordings?
Yes. To listen to samples of our current library of voice talent, click here. Choose the voice (or voices) that you feel reflect your company best, or give us a set of guidelines (male/female, nationality, etc.) and we'll help you make your selection.

what other languages can our productions be recorded in?
Ives Creative can record your audio production in any language you require. If the required language is not represented in our current library of voice talent, we will cast a voice talent specifically for your production based on your exact specifications.

Do we prepare our own script or do you have scriptwriters available?
We start production as soon as we have final approval on the script. If your script is already prepared and finalized, then we can start production immediately! Or, if you need help drafting, editing, or simply polishing the content, our in-house scriptwriters are ready to work with you until you are completely satisfied and ready to go.

Do I need special software?
No. The completed audio files require only the Flash plug-in to play. Current reports estimate that 98% of all Internet-enabled computers have the Flash plug-in installed (NPD Research). If you do not have Flash already installed on your computer, you can download it for free by clicking here. Can I incorporate audio in outgoing e-mails?
Yes. You can include links to audio files within the body of an e-mail, or you may save small audio files as attachments. In addition, we are currently developing a pure audio e-mail that will instantly load and play audio files when the e-mail is opened.

Do audio files slow the speed of my site?
Audio files require about the same time to load as most graphic elements. With Ives Creative's compression technology, we guarantee maximum audio performance with the smallest possible file size. And with more and more Internet users turning to broadband, website audio is widely accessible and quickly becoming a standard feature. While it's best to have the homepage audio greeting play automatically to welcome site visitors, you can also elect to have the greeting turned "off" as the default state. Here, the audio greeting will load only once it has been selected by a visitor.
